NAU Yuma pronounces improved health education programs in partnership with Arizona Western College

Northern Arizona University will provide a bachelor’s diploma in fitness sciences at NAU Yuma starting in the fall of 2020. NAU’s B.S. The health Sciences program is obtainable online in a ninety/30 format where college students can switch up to ninety credits from applicable network college programs into the diploma of the completed application at NAU. Students then complete their bachelor’s diploma with 30 credits at NAU.

In fall 2020, NAU Yuma will host an on-site application for this diploma, which has shown excessive student demand statewide, developing in program enrollment from approximately 350 students in 2007. It became established to have a contemporary enrollment of more than 1,140 students this 12 months.

NAU gives severa undergraduate applications at its Yuma region, placed on the Arizona Western College campus and in partnership with AWC, similar to several graduate programs, with simple schooling, justice research, nursing, and social work. “Continuing to construct access to postsecondary education possibilities in which Arizonans stay and work is essential to increasing Arizona’s economy. NAU values the partnership with AWC and Yuma in this attempt,” Cheng said.

“Arizona Western College is thrilled that Northern Arizona University will begin supplying an allied fitness diploma in Yuma,” AWC President Daniel Corr said. “There is a local demand for one of these diplomas, and NAU has stepped forward to deliver. This is a big win for better training in Yuma.”
