These days, the University of South Carolina Sumter introduced a brand new partnership with USC Aiken School of Education to offer degree programs beginning in the fall. USC Sumter college students can now earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in either Early Childhood Education (grades PK-three) or Elementary Education (grades 2-6) via the USC Aiken program without leaving Sumter.
These applications are designed to put together future instructors emphasizing student-focused coaching, proper evaluation, and reflective teaching practices. Students will learn the system and be prepared to take the High Praxis II certification exam to become authorized trainers in South Carolina.
USC Sumter is “very excited about the launch of this partnership,” Palmetto College Campus Dean Michael Sonntag stated.
